WOLFE CITY —
Lorene Duncan Caldwell, 72, of Wolfe City died Sept. 20, 2012, at her home following a lengthy illness. Services were at 2 p.m., Sept. 23, in the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jim Gatliff and Mark Eldridge officiating. Burial followed at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Born May 21. 1940, in Wolfe City, she was the daughter of Oscar and Ollie Maud White Duncan. She married Tommy Ray Caldwell on Sept. 23, 1956, in Durant, Okla. She worked for Henington Publishing Co. and she was a beauty operator.
Mrs. Caldwell was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfe City.
Survivors are her husband, son Donald Caldwell and daughter Tammie Caldwell, all of Wolfe City; grandchildren Joshua Caldwell, Kristen Lynette Caldwell and Tamra Madison Tarter; great-grandchildren Trinity Henderson and Michael Harvey; two brothers, Billy Duncan of Wolfe City; and John “Dub” Duncan of Rowlett; and sister “Sis” Fredia Hines Frost of Wolfe City.
Her parents, five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mike Eldridge, Billy Eldridge Jr., Keith Duncan, Steve Duncan, Cody Eldridge, Gene Dawson, Roy Caldwell Jr., Mickey Duncan, Austin Roberts and David Duncan served as pallbearers.

Funeral services for Kelly Walker Jones of Sulphur Springs were conducted at 10 a.m., May 11, in the West Oaks Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Hoyt Scoggins officiating and Jay Porterfield assisting. Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Park with Lance Looney, Grant Looney, Kyle Smith, Ryan Reed, Taylor Pace and Brad McFadden serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer was Trey Elliott.
