James H. Riffle, 88, of Commerce passed away May 6, 2012, in Commerce.
James was born Dec. 21, 1923, in Ward, Ark. to Lillie Mae Lyons and John Daniel Boone Riffle. On May 14, 1954, he married Lillian Fulfer in Commerce. He was a self-employed mechanic.
He was a World War II United States Marine Corps veteran.
James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter, Rhonda Riffle; his brother, Carl Riffle; and his sister, Ida Wallace.
Survivors include his three sons, Ronny L. Miller of Rusk, James D. (Dougy) Riffle of Commerce, and John T. Riffle of Commerce; his daughter, Joyce E. Garza of Honey Grove; seven grandsons; four granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and, six great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in the Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel. Interment with full military honors will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Duke, David Ketner, Jose Pilar Larios, Lisho Ramirez, Clifford Horton, Jeffery Benson, Jeff White and Grant Crowell.

Funeral services for Kelly Walker Jones of Sulphur Springs were conducted at 10 a.m., May 11, in the West Oaks Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Hoyt Scoggins officiating and Jay Porterfield assisting. Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Park with Lance Looney, Grant Looney, Kyle Smith, Ryan Reed, Taylor Pace and Brad McFadden serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer was Trey Elliott.
