COMMERCE — James Gordon Busby, 76, passed away Nov. 21, 2012, in Commerce.

He was born March 3, 1936, to Mamye Lee Siegler and Delbert G. Busby in Collin County. On Oct. 12, 1956, he married Annette Eloise Harbor. James was a Baptist by faith and had been employed by Rockwall International.

James was preceded in death by his wife; his son, James “Buzz” Busby Jr.; and his parents.

Survivors include his sons, Joe Busby of Wylie, Jeff Busby and Jay Busby, both of Commerce; his brother, William Patrick Buchanan of Burleson; his grandson, Darrin Busby of Commerce; his granddaughters, Amber Busby of Sulphur Springs and Kamie Busby of Commerce; and his great-grandchildren, Kaylee Busby, Plaisley Sloan, and Alexis Sloan, all of Commerce, Cassidy Busby and Callie Busby of Sulphur Springs and Zovia Busby of Arlington.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Nov. 26, in the Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel with Bro. Randy Wallace officiating. Burial followed in Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.

Funeral services for Kelly Walker Jones of Sulphur Springs were conducted at 10 a.m., May 11, in the West Oaks Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Hoyt Scoggins officiating and Jay Porterfield assisting. Interment followed at Restlawn Memorial Park with Lance Looney, Grant Looney, Kyle Smith, Ryan Reed, Taylor Pace and Brad McFadden serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer was Trey Elliott.
