Collin County —
Commerce High School Principal Adam Rupert will make his first court appearance Feb. 13 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges of driving while intoxicated that stem from a Nov. 14, 2012 arrest.
Rupert, who was named principal at a July 16, 2012 meeting of the Commerce Independent School District Board of Trustees, will appear before Judge Corinne A. Mason, according to Collin County court records.
Rupert was arrested by the Allen Police Department.
Because the issue is a personnel one, CISD was not at liberty to comment.
