COMMERCE —
Commerce High School Principal Adam Rupert will make his first court appearance on March 21 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges of driving while intoxicated that stem from a Nov. 14, 2012, arrest.
Rupert, who was named principal at a July 16, 2012, meeting of the Commerce Independent School District Board of Trustees, will appear before Judge Corinne A. Mason, according to Collin County Court records. Rupert was arrested by the Allen Police Department.
Because the issue is a personnel one, CISD was not at liberty to comment. Rupert was originally scheduled to appear before Judge Mason on Feb. 13 before the court date was rescheduled.
